Madalyn Farrar, M.P.H., Class of 2019

Edwardsville, IL

Madalyn graduated summa cum laude from Trinity College in 2019 with a B.A. in Anthropology and Biology. She was named the 2019 President’s Fellow in Anthropology, which is awarded to a senior in each major who demonstrates outstanding achievement in the major. Madalyn was named a Truman Scholar, a graduate school award, in recognition of a commitment to public service that is helping to fund her Masters of Public Health at Johns Hopkins University.

Anna Grindy, M.D., Class of 2012

Decatur, IL

Anna graduated with Honors from Trinity College in 2012 with a B.S. in Philosophy. She earned her M.D. from Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in 2016, completed her pediatric residency training at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital, where she was Chief Resident, and a pediatric critical care medicine fellowship at Johns Hopkins Hospital. She currently is an assistant professor of pediatrics and attending physician in the pediatric intensive care unit at Emory University and Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. Anna is also currently a sitting member of the SIRI Board.

The Honorable Patrice Ball-Reed, J.D., Class of 1980

Chicago, IL

Patrice graduated from Trinity College in 1980 with a B.A. in Economics. She attended and earned her J.D. from The John Marshall Law School in 1984. Throughout her career, she served in the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office and the Illinois Attorney General’s Office. She currently sits as an Associate Judge on the Circuit Court of Cook County. Patrice is also a sitting member of the SIRI Board.

George F. Will, Ph.D., Class of 1962

Urbana, IL

George Will graduated from Trinity College in 1962 with a B.A. in Religion. He later earned his Ph.D. in Political Science from Princeton University. He is a syndicated political columnist, most notably with The Washington Post since 1974. In 1977, George won a Pulitzer Prize for Commentary. He is a lifelong Cubs fan.
